Two questions… rhetorical and real… when will Facebook come up with something original instead of an attempt at bigger better? When FB copied the tweet idea, did it impact Twitter? If not, relax 4sq, and Jad, I’m with you… getting 4sqd tweets completely interrupts the flow of relatively sane conversation.

a strategy to encourage global Wiki’s to leak information that actually IS newsworthy… bring it on Mr Murdoch, it’s a win win situation.

This one is a hot little number, she made SUCH a scene when she arrived complete with feather boa and long cigarette hanging out from her lid.

BubbleGum pink almost fell off her shelf when she introduced herself with a deep husky voice “hello daaarlinks, METALLink v-wah-la”.

BubbleGum couldn’t help herself “WHAT did you just say?? Do you speak English??” Viola repeated herself….. a little slower, whilst looking BubbleGum up and down from lid to the very bottom of her jar.

Everything’s fine now, although those two still haven’t mixed on canvas – they’re both quite strong on their own and don’t really need to.

Meet Metallink Blu, he has a richness,

a d e p t h… a … quality that has him stand out from any standard blues. He won’t even listen to them.. (the blues that is), prefers a housier, bassier type of beat.

He’s grouped together with the other metallinks, in most of these photo’s, just because he’s very social.. always ready for a night on the town. And he LLLOOOVVEES getting it on with funkSTAR people, getting talked about (which he always does).

It’s a vision, an idea, a concept … FOR the people who live in Melbourne to create a tangible buzz…. a buzz that vibrates out to people in other cities via a conversation… “What’s happening in Melbourne? Why are the people there so switched on? How is it that 51% of the population there are self employed? How do they do it????”. Questions questions questions based on a theory that IF 51 % of people living in one city could sustain their selves financially, creatively, mentally and physically, would there be a tangible energy for LIFE?? How we manage/absorb/direct/translate/create information is one of the key answers… considering quantum physicists is proving that information has weight, and our brains wire together with information on a nanosecond by nanosecond basis… what if a community of people living in one city consciously created a stream of media for the future – or more to the point FROM the future… could that information alter our behaviour as a society? Is it possible to step into the future from a created present? To create a future fiction, something like a media outlet based on a possible future – an open source media outlet for ideas?? Can we write a program for the future to step into? Is that possible? That’s where the idea MADinMelbourne stems from… the possibility of righting the future… it’s starting with one woman – Dale Dickins – and a creative spirit…. for fashion and writing, they are my weapons for mass destruction! I intend to cause havoc with destructive patterns – my own included… and create a program for L I V I N G. You could think fashion and writing as trivial, frivolous and irrelevant – and I wouldn’t blame you, you are welcome to think what you please (as you already do)… however it’s probably only due to the fact that your focus is on waaaay more serious matters like finance and the economy, or, on a much more serious note – you’re just like me and don’t know how you’ll be paying this months’ rent.
